Remembering Our Volunteers>

"It was my pleasure to experience the outstanding service provided by The Community Kitchen. I had the opportunity to serve dinner last Thursday and to see first hand the process of preparing and serving a great meal. After serving was over we all completely cleaned the facility to be ready for the next meal. Its quite a process and a great service to the community."
Joe Walier, Walier Chevrolet

“Working as a volunteer cook at The Community Kitchen requires hard work but the rewards are great. I met some wonderful people from all walks of life and everyone works together to get a meal out on time. There is a strong commitment to seeing that not just food is served but a well balanced meal. The best thing of all is that in a reasonably short time you have an end product, dinner for a hundred or more, that you can feel proud of and you know has helped your community. It is a great experience and I recommend it to everyone.”     Carol Swenson Jue

The Community Kitchen has several volunteer opportunities available Monday through Friday. We offer a flexible schedule for individuals anywhere from one or two hours to five or six hours during our pantry distributions or special events. You can offer your time weekly or on an on-call basis – Whatever works for you!

Take a moment to think about your neighbors... Many of us take food and daily necessities for granted, but for some it’s not that simple. The holidays are a time to show how much you care, and what better time to start than now.

Make a donation, join in a food drive, deliver food boxes, volunteer your time... Individuals, families, work groups and civic organizations are encouraged to reserve time to help make a difference this season by calling (603)352-3200.

We can answer your questions, schedule volunteer time and provide an informational tour of our facility.

After you’ve seen TCK’s operations, we’re sure you’ll agree.
